We will accept up to 5,000 words per submission. One submission per person.

All submissions should be in 12pt. Times New Roman/serif font, double-spaced, and submitted as a .doc or .docx file.
Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Please notify us if you must withdraw your submission due to its acceptance elsewhere.
Blind submissions: no identifiers or names on the page.
Must be your own work; no AI. Credit any inspiration if applicable.
Include a content warning in the name of the document if needed.
We encourage students to submit stories in their native language. Please provide an English translation as well.
Do not submit work that promotes homophobia, transphobia, racism, or ableism.

We accept all types of creative nonfiction, including personal essays, narratives, opinion pieces, critiques, letters, travel writings, and experimental work. Do not give us your biology research paper or dissertation. In our submission pool, these types of things will have a shorter lifespan than a goldfish in a bowl. We look forward to reading your work!
