This poem is dedicated to the game developer Gabe Newell, CEO of the VALVe Corporation, most famously known for his contributions to, the Half-Life franchise and the gaming industry.
A life lived in Half is incomplete
And would forever be seen petit.
To abandon is a coward’s action
which will never gain any traction.
To the Valve that controls the pipe,
why must you give us so much strife?
Have you not the people in your pocket
with desire to acquire all that you rocket?
The steam quickens, covering my gaze and face
and beyond you fall within, out of grace.
To be villains, you would not be seen,
but of that written, are you not like Breen?
Denying this is bad, as you’d agree,
but then, I ask, where is Three?
